The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has reported a profit after tax (PAT) of N5.76 trillion for the 2025 fiscal year.
In its Monthly Report Summary for December 2025 released on Thursday, the company disclosed that it generated N60.51 trillion in revenue during the period under review.
The national oil company stated that it made statutory remittances amounting to N14.7 trillion to government agencies and joint venture partners within the year.
It added that Nigeria achieved an average crude oil and condensate production of 19.43 million barrels per day (bpd) across the year.

The company further revealed that average crude and condensate output for December 2025 stood at 1.54 million bpd, reflecting a 3.75 percent decline from the 1.6 million bpd recorded in November 2025.
According to the NNPC, the dip in December production was due to scheduled maintenance at Stardeep-Agbami and Renaissance-Estuary Area (EA), as well as unexpected shutdowns at some production facilities.
The report also showed that the company recorded a PAT of N351 billion for December 2025, marking a 30.08 percent drop from the N502 billion posted in November 2025.
Revenue for December was put at N4.82 trillion, indicating a 10.8 percent increase compared to the N4.35 trillion generated in the previous month.
The firm noted that natural gas production declined to 6.19 million standard cubic feet per day (mscfd) in December 2025, down from 6.96 mscfd in November.
On infrastructure updates, the NNPC confirmed the successful completion of mainline welding works on the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline as planned.
It added that work is ongoing to finalise the intermediate pigging station (IPS) and block valve stations (BVS).
The company also announced the completion of early-stage works and the commencement of pilot hole drilling on the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) gas pipeline, noting that the project remains on schedule.
