Suspected herdsmen reportedly killed two people earlier today along the Uikpam–Umenger road, near Uikpam town.
The attack occurred in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, an area that has experienced recurring violence in recent times.
According to eyewitnesses, the victims were attacked while traveling on the deserted road, which has become notorious for repeated violence.
