A live broadcast hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze took an unexpected turn when singer 2Baba and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, were overheard engaging in a tense exchange in the background.
The incident — now widely circulated on social media — came after allegations were made against Natasha by the singer’s former management team.
The controversy started when 2Baba’s former managers, Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan, joined Freeze’s live session.
During the broadcast, they accused Natasha of attempting to exercise “full control” over 2Baba’s personal and professional life.
They further described her as someone who frequently displays “fits of rage” and confirmed that a previously denied arrest incident involving the couple in the United Kingdom did indeed take place.
The former managers alleged that Natasha oversees the singer’s finances and public appearances, insisting the artiste needed to be “saved” from her influence.
They also referenced prior volatile encounters, including a confrontation at an airport and a domestic dispute that nearly resulted in police involvement.
Lori recounted their experiences, saying the airport incident revealed a “toxic nature” that was impossible to overlook. He added that her reactions escalated from “zero to 1000” and that similar heated outbursts occurred at their residence.
He said their attempts to de-escalate situations were sometimes to prevent a second police visit, adding that 2Baba’s song ‘Save Me From Myself’ felt like a plea from the artiste.
The situation intensified when 2Baba abruptly joined the live, telling his former managers to “shut the f**k up” and stop discussing his private life.
Shortly afterward, loud arguing between him and Natasha was heard off-camera, growing increasingly heated before the livestream was abruptly cut.
The couple’s relationship became public following 2Baba’s announcement of his split from his estranged wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia, in January.
At that time, he clarified that the relationship with the Edo lawmaker had nothing to do with the separation.
He proposed to Osawaru in February, and the relationship received family approval in April when Natasha visited 2Baba’s mother, Rose, who had previously expressed reservations about the union. The pair got married in July.
