Chimsom Chuka has been crowned the first Head of House of Big Brother Naija Season 11, with Abi claiming the deputy HoH title after a competitive opening week.
The 2026 season’s games got under way on Monday evening with a fiercely contested HoH challenge involving all 24 housemates.
The competition was divided into separate rounds for male and female participants, with the fastest overall performers advancing to a final face-off. The overall winner would take the HoH title, with the runner-up becoming deputy.
After a tightly fought final round, Chimsom claimed victory with a time of 2 minutes and 8 seconds, while Abi came in as runner-up to secure the deputy position.
The HoH title earned Chimsom immunity from eviction for the week. However, in a twist that sets this season apart from previous editions, Chimsom will not enjoy access to the exclusive HoH lounge.
Instead, organisers introduced a new rule requiring the HoH to select a fellow housemate through a lucky dip box to occupy the luxury suite for the week.
Following the draw, Tram emerged as the lucky beneficiary and was granted access to the HoH lounge. As part of his privileges, Tram was also allowed to invite one housemate to share the space with him, choosing Sheba.
Under the revised format, Chimsom’s sole reward for winning the HoH challenge is immunity from this week’s eviction, while Tram and Sheba settle into the comfort and privacy of the lounge.
This year’s winner will walk away with a record-breaking grand prize of N160 million — the biggest payout in the show’s history since it launched in 2006.
