Former BBNaija Season 11 housemate Kamsy has said the energetic and party-loving personality she displayed during her time on the reality show was an authentic reflection of who she is.
Speaking during an interview with Cool FM, Kamsy reflected on her experience in the Big Brother house and explained that she deliberately wanted viewers to see different sides of her personality beyond her glamorous appearance.
She said she was already aware of her love for parties before entering the reality show.
“I’ve always known I was a party animal. You need to see me during Detty December season,” she said.
Kamsy recalled arriving at the house and being immediately struck by how unfamiliar the environment felt.
“Coming to this house that Monday morning, I had my bath and I was like, ‘Jesus wept, what am I seeing?’” she said.
She maintained that she did not enter the competition intending to create a carefully controlled image or behave in a reserved manner.
“Even as I no bring clothes come to the house, I always know I was a party animal,” she said.
According to Kamsy, one of her objectives was to expose viewers to both her glamorous side and the more playful personality behind it.
“I want people to see not just the glam Kamsy, but then also the other Kamsy,” she said.
She added that she wanted audiences to connect with her personality in its entirety while making the most of her time in the house.
Kamsy also explained that she viewed the reality show as a place where she could express herself naturally rather than conform to expectations about how she should behave.
“I just feel like I’m going to a house, there is no reason for me to wake up in the morning and tie iro and buba and sit down in the lounge,” she said.
Meanwhile, Kamsy identified Chimsom Chuka, Tram and Bluetophia as some of the housemates she believes could challenge for the eventual BBNaija Season 11 title.
