The countdown to the BBNaija ‘Show Ya Sef’ season finale has begun, with the remaining 10 housemates securing their places in the final.
The nominations took place on Monday evening shortly after Keivo emerged as the Head of House (HoH) for week nine.
Following the HoH games, Big Brother summoned the housemates to the lounge and asked Barry, the season’s “ultimate veto power holder” and the first confirmed finalist, to select the red envelope.
Barry was then given a choice between granting immunity to all the remaining housemates or giving it to no one. He opted to grant immunity to everyone.
This means Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram will compete for this year’s grand prize.
It marks the first time in the history of the show that all finalists have been determined at the beginning of week nine.
The winner of this year’s edition is set to receive a record N160 million grand prize, the biggest payout in the reality show’s history since its launch in 2006.
Of the 24 housemates introduced on July 26, 12 have been evicted, while Neche left the show voluntarily and Nomy was disqualified.
The show is scheduled to end on October 4.
