Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Koyin, has confessed that his career in modeling led him to lie about his age.
Although he initially claimed during the show’s premiere to be 21, he later told fellow contestant Gigi Jasmine that he will actually turn 25 on August 19.
Koyin admitted to shaving three years off his real age, explaining that it was a decision influenced by the demands of his modeling profession.
“I am 25 years old and not 21 years old. I had to reduce my age because of modelling,” Koyin confessed.
Gigi Jasmine commended him for his emotional intelligence.
“You have some high level of emotional intelligence which I appreciate a lot,” Gigi commended.
This isn’t an isolated incident, as another housemate, Ivatar, also admitted to tweaking her age.
She initially claimed to be 40 but later revealed she’s actually 37, saying she was just joking about her age.
