Cassi has become the fourth housemate to leave the 2026 edition of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Show Ya Sef’.
The reality TV star was evicted during Sunday night’s live show after receiving the lowest number of votes from viewers.
Cassi was among nine housemates nominated for possible eviction in the fourth week of the competition. The others were Araga, Gerard, Nomy, Tram, Sheba, Aikou, Yusuf, Goddessa and Temi Nkem.
Earlier in the week, the housemates were given a task to save three of their fellow contestants from possible eviction.
Bluethopia, Cassi and Gerard received the highest number of saves and were initially declared safe. However, Neche, who was the Head of House (HoH), used her power to remove one of the saved housemates and selected Gerard.
As a result, Bluethopia, Cassi and Chimsom, who had been named the previous week’s most influential player, secured immunity and automatically advanced to week four.
Flora and Aikou, who were recently named ‘The Gambits’ of the season, were also not placed up for eviction after being secretly granted spots in the finale. The other housemates are reportedly unaware of the arrangement.
The 2026 edition premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for a record-breaking grand prize of N160 million, the biggest prize in the history of the reality show since its launch in 2006.
Martins and Mercedes were the first housemates to be evicted from this year’s ‘Show Ya Sef’ edition, while Neche voluntarily left the competition.
Kamsy was subsequently evicted during last week’s live eviction show.
Cassi’s departure now leaves the remaining housemates battling for survival as the competition progresses towards its grand finale.
