Streaming platform Spotify has released its list of the top 30 Nigerian songs with the highest global streams in the first half of 2025.
The list included both songs by Nigerian artists and tracks featuring Nigerian artists that gained the most streams outside Nigeria.
Davido topped the chart with nine songs from his latest album, ‘5ive’, making the cut, while Burna Boy followed closely with five entries.
However, Rema claimed the top spot with ‘Baby (Is It A Crime)’, followed by Shallipopi’s ‘Laho’ and Davido’s ‘With You’ featuring Omah Lay.
Chella’s ‘My Darling’ and Burna Boy’s ‘Tatata’ featuring Travis Scott ranked fourth and fifth, respectively.
Rounding out the top 10 are Frenna and Shallipopi’s ‘Zazaza’, Coldplay’s ‘We Pray’ featuring Burna Boy, Burna Boy’s ‘Update’, Shallipopi’s ‘Laho II’ featuring Burna Boy, and Davido’s ‘Be There Still’.
