Arinze “Denari” Ekwenme and Uchenna “Tracy” Ekwe were evicted from Big Brother Naija (BBN) Season 10 during Sunday’s live show, ending their dramatic seven-week stay in the house.
The double eviction shocked fans, as both housemates had become strong personalities in the game, navigating alliances, heated quarrels and unexpected twists that shaped the fiery seventh week.
Speaking after eviction, Denari admitted his time in the house was “not easy” but said surviving seven weeks was “a personal achievement.” He insisted his bond with Doris, evicted the previous week, was genuine. The 27-year-old, who celebrated his birthday inside the house, had entertained viewers with his acting, singing and weekly task performances.
Tracy described her experience as “amazing,” adding that despite the highs and lows, she was grateful for the opportunity. She revealed her closest bond was with Zita, whom she credited for giving her “a safe space.” The Anambra-born graduate trainee had earlier won Head of House in Week Three, cementing her reputation as a playful but competitive contender.
Their exit reduces the housemates from 29 at the start of the season to 12, with ₦150 million still at stake.
Meanwhile, host Ebuka announced that Faith Adewale, a 25-year-old doctor, was safe from eviction and had been voted Most Influential Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Week Seven also saw Thelma Lawson crowned Head of House, with Mide as her deputy, while Kaybobo earned the Most Influential Player title, securing immunity. A dramatic fake eviction sent Dede, Joanna and Rooboy into a secret luxury room, before their surprise return stirred fresh emotions and conflicts.
As the competition intensifies, shifting alliances, messy clashes and the fight for immunity continue to shape the path to the ₦150 million grand prize.
