Diddy transferred to new prison days after hospitalisation over head injury

US rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has reportedly been transferred from a prison in New Jersey to a low-security correctional facility in Pennsylvania.

According to TMZ, the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed that Diddy was moved from the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix on Friday morning.

He is now being held at the Federal Correctional Institution in Allenwood, Pennsylvania.

The bureau did not disclose the reason for the transfer. However, Diddy reportedly received multiple disciplinary write-ups while at Fort Dix over alleged phone violations and fights with other inmates.

The rapper was also reportedly sent twice to the prison’s special housing unit, where inmates are held for disciplinary reasons.

The transfer comes days after he was reportedly taken to a medical facility for treatment following a suspected head injury.

The music executive is serving a prison sentence of more than four years after a New York court, presided over by Judge Arun Subramanian, convicted him in October 2025.

He was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution after more than 120 accusers, including a minor, came forward with allegations of kidnapping, blackmail, abuse and prostitution-related crimes.

His expected release date has changed several times, with the date sometimes pushed back and at other times brought forward. Most recently, it was advanced by another month to 21 January 2028.

Earlier in July, US President Donald Trump was reportedly considering granting clemency to Combs.
