Actress and filmmaker, Fathia Balogun, has called out a blogger for spreading false reports about an alleged rift between her and fellow actress, Funke Akindele.
The issue started after Fathia celebrated her birthday on February 5 and received a warm message from Funke. She responded with a simple “Ose Iya Ibeji” in Yoruba, which later sparked unnecessary controversy.
A blogger later claimed on social media that the exchange seemed awkward, sparking speculation about possible tension between the two actresses.
Fathia has since dismissed the claims, insisting there is no bad blood between them, while accusing bloggers of creating unnecessary drama and spreading false narratives online.
During a live video session, she cautioned bloggers against interfering in her personal and professional relationships, explaining that Funke’s message was sincere and that her response had been wrongly interpreted.
Recall that both actresses had previously been linked to controversy after Funke reportedly unfollowed and blocked Fathia over claims of unreturned event appearances.
