Flavour celebrates adopted son on his 20th birthday

The Nigerian music star, Flavour, has marked the 20th birthday of his adopted son, Semah Weifur.

In a post shared on Instagram on Saturday, the singer expressed happiness and pride as he celebrated the milestone, reflecting on Semah’s growth over the years.

“Celebrating Semah at 20. My boy is grown! More life, son,” he captioned the post.

The video shared alongside the message showed touching moments between both of them, with Flavour showering Semah with affection and presenting him with gifts.

The celebration also included a dinner event attended by his daughters, friends, and well-wishers, who gathered for a food-and-wine outing to mark the occasion.

Fans and colleagues have since taken to the comment section to send congratulatory messages.

Flavour first encountered Semah in 2017 during a visit to Liberia, where the visually impaired boy was living at the Liberia Crusader for Peace Village orphanage.

Semah gained the singer’s attention after performing one of his songs, leading to an instant bond between them.

Later that year, both collaborated on ‘Most High’, a track from Flavour’s album Ijele – The Traveler, which helped introduce Semah to a wider audience.
