Celebrity Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has threatened to take legal action against singer Seyi Vibez over remarks he recently made about her.
The development follows a public dispute between Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi and T.I Blaze and their former record label boss, Damilola Akinwunmi, popularly known as Dapper, over alleged royalty issues and missing funds reportedly amounting to N1 billion.
Amid the heated exchange on X, Seyi Vibez directed a remark at Hilda Baci, who was described as Dapper’s girlfriend, alleging that the music executive used money from their music catalogue to finance her BBL procedure.
He also claimed that her food nearly killed him.
Reacting to the claims, Hilda in a legal warning letter, accused the singer of libel, and defamation.
While demanding a public apology, she asked him to remove the posts from all social media platforms or face lawsuits.
She said, “In light of the foregoing, we hereby demand that upon receipt of this letter, you immediately; remove and permanently delete the above referenced publications together with any other statement, post, comment, image, video and repost.
“Issue a clear and unequivocal public apology and retraction in respect of the offending publications, to be published prominently and contemporaneously across all your social media accounts.
“Within three days of your receipt of this letter, we further demand that you provide a written undertaking confirming that you shall henceforth cease and desist from publishing, communicating any defamatory content concerning our client,” the letter demanded.
