Nigerian content creator and founder of GehGeh School of Marriage, GehGeh, has reacted to criticism surrounding his wedding to his lover, Mary.
GehGeh, who has been facing criticism on social media, secretly tied the knot on Saturday despite his previous views on marriage.
Following the emergence of the wedding video, many Nigerians, including his fans and several celebrities, have continued to call him out over what they describe as a contradiction of his teachings.
He wrote on X, “I never for once told y’all not to get married. Did I? If yes show me a video of me telling you not to marry.”
Shortly after he made the statement, social media users resurfaced old videos of him declaring that he would never get married or remain in a relationship, while describing marriage as a “financial mistake and scam.”
