Nigerian TikTok star Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has expressed his wish to have a daughter, promising to give her everything she needs.
The streamer made the declaration during a recent livestream while speaking with another person. He said he was serious about his intention to give his daughter the best things in life.
“I am expecting a girl, and if it’s a girl, I will give her the world and a whole life. I am not capping”.
Peller and his wife, Jarvis, recently announced that they were expecting their first child after months of denying pregnancy rumours.
Ahead of the baby’s arrival, Peller also disclosed his plans to buy his wife a push present. He considered purchasing a Chanel bag worth $40,000, arguing that it would be a better choice than a car, which he believed she might not appreciate as much.
The couple have also created TikTok and Instagram accounts for their unborn child, Baby Adelaja. The TikTok account has reportedly surpassed 100,000 followers, while the Instagram page has attracted more than 30,000 followers.
Peller and Jarvis’ relationship
In June, Peller proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Jarvis, during an intimate beachside ceremony at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Ghana. Jarvis accepted the proposal in tears of joy.
A week later, Peller reportedly paid Jarvis’ bride price in her hometown of Benin City.
The couple subsequently formalised their union with a court wedding on Wednesday, July 29, attended by Daddy Freeze and other guests.
On August 1, they held their traditional wedding in a lavish ceremony attended by several celebrities, including Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ojo and her husband, Juma Jux, Foluke Daramola, Wunmi Ajiboye, Soso Soberekon, Cubana Chief Priest and Seun Kuti.
Pregnancy rumours began circulating after the couple’s wedding introduction.
At the time, Peller dismissed the speculation by sharing a video of Jarvis cooking late at night and questioning whether a pregnant woman would have that much energy. He also said he was focused on making money and urged the public not to attribute a pregnancy to his wife.
However, Cubana Chief Priest later confirmed Jarvis’ pregnancy during a phone conversation with Peller, who was livestreaming. He expressed excitement about becoming a grandfather and promised to make their wedding a major event in Lagos.
The couple further fuelled speculation during their pre-wedding photoshoot, where Jarvis appeared to have a protruding belly that she seemed keen to conceal.
