Nigerian singer Nico Gravity has opened up about his ongoing health crisis, revealing that he is currently battling a serious heart-related condition.
In a video shared on Facebook by fellow artiste Baba Fryo, the veteran musician appealed to the public for financial assistance as he struggles with his medical situation.
In the clip, Nico Gravity disclosed that he is also dealing with a kidney infection, which has affected his ability to urinate normally. He explained that his condition began with high blood pressure, which later resulted in heart failure and eventually led to complications affecting his kidneys.
“Guys, I am very sick. For the past two months, I have been diagnosed with heart failure. I need help. I have been urinating blood, which is a kidney issue,” he said.
“The doctors say I should run a series of tests. I underwent a kidney function test, and I was told my kidneys have serious problems. I need urgent help.
“I was informed that my blood pressure affected my heart, and then my heart affected my kidneys. I have spent all I have, and I cannot go out to hustle for money. Please, I need urgent help. I still have many more tests to do. Please, I don’t want to die. Help me.”
Born Paul Nnamdi Okpara, Nico Gravity gained prominence in 2009 with his hit track ‘I Wan Finish Timaya’, which he described as a direct jab at dancehall singer Timaya.
He is known for his distinctive Ajegunle-inspired sound, marked by energetic delivery and thought-provoking lyrics.
