The Nigerian gospel artist Moses Bliss has responded to reports that he and his former signee and colleague Ebuka Songs are at odds.
Spotlite Nation founder Bliss disclosed in December 2024 that Ebuka left the label after 11 months rather than the three years specified in his contract.
Bliss said that Ebuka had made the decision to pursue his music on his own and that there were no problems between them.
However, rumours started to spread that Ebuka’s early exit from the company was due to an ongoing conflict between the two singers.
Addressing the claims at the WithChude Live event, Bliss described his former signee as a “great guy”, adding that the world “has not seen the best of him”.
He also said he does not care about people’s perceptions but would always “rejoice and root” for Ebuka.
“Ebuka is a great guy. I think the world has not seen the best of him yet. I feel like he still has greater years, and with good mentors, he is going to do even greater things,” he said.
“He is definitely not where he used to be and not how he met us. He is doing good for the kingdom. And he is impacting lot of lives. Seeing just that alone, my joy is full. I do not care what anybody thinks, I’m rejoicing and rooting for him.”
