Popular TikToker Peller has spent N1 million on groundnuts sold by a mother and her daughter during a livestream.
The incident occurred on Monday after the woman and her daughter joined Peller’s live session to showcase the groundnuts they sell.
During the interaction, Peller asked about the price of the groundnuts, and the woman said they cost N3,000.
When Peller asked how much she wanted for all the items, she named N1 million.
Peller agreed to the amount and transferred the money to her during the livestream.
He then asked both mother and daughter to confirm receipt of the funds while the session was ongoing.
The mood changed when Peller expressed dissatisfaction with the daughter’s reaction after receiving the money.
He said her response did not show enough excitement and suggested that the money should be returned.
“If na me dem give one million naira, I go happy. I go show say I appreciate am. I go thank the person specially,” he said.
The young woman pleaded with Peller and apologised for her reaction, while her mother also appealed to him to remain calm.
