Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez has presented his father with another house, marking the second property he has gifted him.
The ‘Opera Mini’ hitmaker announced the gesture in an Instagram post on Wednesday, sharing a video showing himself, his father and associates standing in front of the multi-million-naira property.
“I celebrate you Pops ! Congrats on your second house. ALHAMDULLILAH,” he wrote.
The latest gift is the second house the singer has acquired for his father, whom he affectionately refers to as Baba Loseyi.
In June 2023, shortly after gaining mainstream recognition, Seyi Vibez had also built a house for his father in Lagos.
Born Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, the singer gained prominence in 2023 following the release of his hit single ‘Chance (Na Ham)’.
He has since worked with several prominent figures in the music industry while establishing a strong connection with street audiences through his unique sound.
In August 2023, the singer spoke about how his upbringing in Ikorodu, Lagos, influenced his decision to pursue a career in music.
The following year, he revealed that his family had asked him to leave home at the age of 15 because of their difficult living conditions.
He said his family encouraged him to seek a way to support himself rather than “die” while living with them.
“I left home when I was 15. Things were difficult in the ghetto, so I had to make way for myself. Even my own family freed me. They said, ‘Go, do not die here. It is better you go away and hustle for yourself’,” the singer said.
