Nigerian comedian Mazi Okeke has shared an emotional account of what he describes as a heartbreaking betrayal by his fiancée, claiming she was involved in a secret relationship with his driver despite the sacrifices he made for her over the years.
In a series of posts shared on social media, the comedian said he had never been the type to bring his private life online but decided to speak out because of the emotional pain he is experiencing.
According to video shared on X, he invested heavily in their future together, paying his fiancée’s tuition fees from her 200-level through to her graduation. He also said he established a business for her and even built a house for her parents, believing they were building a life together.
Reflecting on the situation, Mazi Okeke admitted he now feels foolish for the level of trust and commitment he gave to the relationship.
The comedian further alleged that he uncovered the affair unexpectedly while returning from a site visit. He claimed he caught his fiancée and his driver together, a discovery that left him devastated.
He said he confronted her, expecting an explanation or remorse. However, according to him, she instead attempted to shift the blame and manipulate the conversation rather than apologize for her actions.
His revelation has since sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many users expressing sympathy for the comedian, while others debated the importance of trust, loyalty, and setting healthy boundaries in relationships.
