‘Stop saying you’re the best rapper’ – Odumodublvck to Blaqbonez

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has called on fellow rapper Blaqbonez to stop claiming the title of the best rapper in the country.

According to reports, tensions between the two artists recently escalated following a heated exchange on social media.

The feud was sparked by Blaqbonez’s diss directed at Odumodublvck in his new collaboration with A-Q titled Who’s Really Rapping.

In a recent interview with Jusmen 105.7, Odumodublvck addressed the issue, stating that Blaqbonez’s claim to being the best rapper is disrespectful to the pioneers and legends of Nigerian rap.

“Do you know what it is for you to say you are the best rapper in Nigeria?,” he asked. “Stop joking. You are not the best rapper. M.I is the best rapper, Vector is the best rapper. If you were the best rapper, you would have won the best rap album of the Year [at the Headies]. You were not even nominated for best rap single,” he said.

“I’m not better than Phyno as a rapper. Look at his legacy. [There is]Olamide, Vector, M.I, Modenine, Ghost, Tec… So, for me to come and say I’m the best rapper, that means I’ve to be the best rapper. But if you’re not, Stop saying it. It’s getting on my nerves, bro. You can get smacked in the face for that kind of sh*t.

“Stop lying to the kids that you are the best. Nobody is even booking you for shows. Nobody is saying that you’re a wack artist, you’re an amazing artist. But don’t come and use your insecurities to close the door.”
