Nigerian singer and former loyalist of Fuji star, Taye Currency, Rollex Dee, is reportedly battling an undisclosed illness.
According to a video shared online by Rollex Dee’s mother, the family was informed that the singer was vomiting blood while in police custody.
The mother said, “Nigerians please come to my rescue. I received a call two days ago that my son was ill and vomiting blood. Please don’t let them kill my son in police custody.”
This comes months after Rollex Dee was arrested and detained by the Oyo State Police Command in April 2026.
The singer was reportedly arrested for allegedly defaming Fuji star, Taye Currency, during an interview on the ‘Agbaletu’ programme.
Confirming his arrest, the command, through its official X platform, said its officers tracked Rollex Dee to Lagos following a petition filed by Taye Currency.
Despite public outcry and calls for his release, Rollex Dee has remained in police custody since his arrest in April.
