Tems to perform at maiden halftime show of 2025 FIFA Club World Cup

Nigerian singer Tems is scheduled to perform at the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup final halftime show.

According to a statement from the show’s producer, Global Citizen, the performance will happen on July 13 at New York’s MetLife Stadium.

DAZN.com will broadcast the halftime show live and for free to viewers worldwide.

American artist Doja Cat and Colombian singer J Balvin will be joining Tems on the all-star lineup.

Speaking about the event, Tems said the show will be a moment to celebrate football and the unifying power of music.

The Grammy-winning Nigerian singer revealed her excitement to be part of a performance that supports children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.

“We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund,” she said.

“I can’t wait. See you at the FIFA Club World Cup final!”

The statement also announced that the show aims to support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.

This initiative is being overseen by the FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, and the Global Citizen co-founder, Hugh Evans.

It plans to raise $100 million to help children around the world access quality education and football.
