A trending video has captured the moment Fuji star Saheed Osupa confronted a man who allegedly attempted to escape after collecting money from him at an event.
According to the video, some touts had approached Osupa and demanded money from him. The musician reportedly agreed to pay but asked them to send a representative to collect the money.
After the representative received the money, he allegedly attempted to leave through the back, apparently trying to escape with the cash.
Realising what was happening, Osupa quickly alerted his boys and instructed them to stop the man.
In the viral footage, the musician could be heard saying in Yoruba, “Má gba ẹyìn ooo, iwájú ni kó gba”, telling his men not to allow the man to pass through the back and that he should go through the front.
Osupa then warned his boys again, saying, “Bọ́bọ̀ yẹn ò gbọ́dọ̀ gba ẹyìn ooo, iwájú ni kó gba ooo. Ó fẹ́ gbowó sálọ ni yẹn oo, ló yàn ju ẹ, ẹ ń gbé,” suggesting that the man was trying to collect the money and flee.
His boys immediately went after the man, caught up with him and brought him back to the gathering.
The incident drew the attention of people at the event, with the man eventually being surrounded by the crowd after he was apprehended.
The footage has since gone viral on social media, with viewers reacting to Osupa’s swift response and the dramatic attempt to stop the man from allegedly making away with the money.
