A 40-year-old woman has spoken about her prolonged period of being single, revealing her desire to get married, start a family and settle down.
In a video circulating on social media, the woman, who said she is the only child of her parents, disclosed that she had been struggling emotionally with being alone.
The woman said she had reached an age where she urgently wanted to find a husband and was prepared to personally fund the wedding.
She also offered to give one of her cars to any man who agreed to marry her.
“I’ve been crying for a long time. It’s not good to be alone. I said I would sponsor the wedding.
“I need a man. I want to marry. I am the only child of my parents but I’m still single.
“I’m almost 40 years. I need a man. 40 years without family.
“The money is here. If you marry me, I will sponsor the wedding and I will give you one of my car.”
Her comments have generated mixed reactions online, with some social media users sympathising with her situation, while others criticised her decision to offer financial incentives in her search for a husband.
