Nigerian social activist and commentator Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has reacted to the death of Blessing CEO’s son, expressing concern over the public’s perception of the controversial relationship expert.
Blessing CEO recently confirmed the death of her second son, Bryan Onyedikachi, while she was still in detention.
The development was initially announced by Amira Agiye, CEO of the Isaamira Foundation, in a viral video on Friday evening, where she also appealed for financial assistance for Blessing.
Blessing later confirmed her son’s death during a phone conversation with actress Doris Ogala but denied authorising Agiye to announce the death or solicit money on her behalf.
Reacting to the development, VeryDarkMan said he hoped Blessing would see his video, adding that his message was “coming from a place of love”.
He said: “I’m pretty sure you will see this video, because apparently it seems you’re with your phone. From all the call recordings I’ve been hearing lately, apparently you do with your phone. So you may like to see this video. Now, this video is coming from a place of love, because I really want to talk to you and advise you, right?”
VeryDarkMan said Blessing needed to reconsider her life and described her situation as being beyond the physical.
He said, “first things first, you have a problem, and you don’t have a ordinary problem. You have a problem with the spiritual. As a spiritual person, I’m telling you what it is right now. You have a problem with the spiritual. This is beyond the physical. You have a very serious problem.”
VeryDarkMan further addressed what he described as the damage to Blessing’s public image, saying people no longer believe her when she speaks. He said, “do you know how bad your life is? And as a public figure, you have messed yourself so bad to the point where if you say A, people can no longer take your A. If you say B, they can no longer take your B.”
He also referenced the public reaction to the death of Blessing’s son, saying the situation had become so serious that some people did not believe she had lost her child.
He said, “and people don’t believe that you lost your kid. It’s that bad. It’s that bad. People don’t care that you lost your child.”
VeryDarkMan concluded by reiterating his spiritual concerns and warning Blessing about the consequences if she does not seek what he described as cleansing.
He said, “but then again, it’s a spiritual world. It’s a spiritual world. If you don’t cleanse yourself, you feel more pain. And she just tell you now, for your people in the spiritual, I will tell you how it be. If you don’t cleanse yourself, you understand?”
