Afrobeats star Adekunle Gold has spoken about his intentional decision to choose peace over trouble and conflict in his everyday life.
In a recent video, the ‘Orente’ singer highlighted his love for a calm lifestyle, saying he avoids trouble entirely and simply wants to live in peace.
Adekunle Gold linked his decision to avoid conflict to his self-awareness, admitting, “Me, I know myself. My mouth is not good at all. Anybody who knows me knows my mouth is not good. So, I don’t even want to say anything out of regret, so I’d rather just step away.”
The singer explained that choosing to walk away from conflict does not mean he is weak or incapable of standing up for himself when needed.
He also questioned the mentality of people who deliberately seek trouble, asking, “What is your mind like? Why do you not like peace? Why do you not like peace of mind? Why don’t you just walk away?”
