Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur Waris Olayinka Akinwande, popularly known as Ola of Lagos, has disclosed that he still lives in a rented apartment despite owning several properties.
Speaking on a recent episode of The KK Show, the property influencer explained that he prefers renting because he believes living in his own house could make him “too relaxed.”
Ola revealed that he spends N50 million annually on rent, adding that he has never spent a night in any of the houses he purchased with his own money.
”I have never slept in any house I bought with my own money. If you do, you will become too relaxed. Despite being in a beautiful estate, I still live in rented apartments and pay rent. When I pay 50 million naira a year. I use that pain to keep grinding harder,” he said.
