Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has spoken about how he manages fame and his professional career.
Speaking during an interview on the CreativiTea podcast, the actor revealed that he feels uncomfortable with accolades and does not want his success to be measured by the number of awards he has received.
Arukwe also stressed that he would rather his craft speak for itself than be defined by trophies, adding that he is more focused on delivering quality performances.
“But you know I’m also very scared of accolades because I don’t want you to measure me on awards or with awards or by awards. I want you to measure me by my last job,” he said.
