Producer-turned-singer, Young Jonn, has turned down a collaboration request from rapper Blaqbonez after recalling a 2015 tweet in which the rapper compared him with fellow producer DJ Coublon.
In the old tweet, Blaqbonez said he preferred DJ Coublon to Young Jonn.
The rapper recently expressed interest in collaborating with Young Jonn while reacting to a post by the singer about wanting to form a five-member band.
However, Young Jonn turned down the request after bringing up Blaqbonez’s old tweet.
Young Jonn wrote, “I need like 5 bad friends way we go dey move in bulk!”
Blaqbonez reacted, “Oya, make we dey together, sing as one.”
Young Jonn responded by sharing a screenshot of Blaqbonez’s old tweet in which the rapper chose DJ Coublon over him, replying, “Go sing as one with Coublon.”
Blaqbonez, however, denied making the post, claiming it was made by his social media handler in 2015.
