The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results of underage candidates for checking.
However, JAMB clarified that the release of the results does not automatically make candidates eligible for admission.
The results may only be considered for admission for candidates who satisfy the requirements for exceptional admission.
To qualify, such candidates must have obtained a minimum UTME score of 320 and achieved at least 80 per cent in relevant subjects in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination.
How to check your result:
Step 1: Use the same phone number you registered with for the UTME.
Step 2: Send the word “RESULT” as a text message.
Step 3: Send it to either 55019 or 66019.
Step 4: Your result will be sent back to you via SMS shortly after.
