The Acting Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), May Agbamuche, is holding a meeting with the Chairmen and Secretaries of political parties at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja.
The gathering is part of a series of stakeholder consultations scheduled by the commission in preparation for the Anambra state governorship election set for November this year.
The session is expected to enable the commission and political parties to discuss key concerns and fine-tune strategies for a smooth Anambra election.
This marks the first meeting with political parties presided over by the acting INEC chairman.
