Nigerian television host, Frank Edoho, has responded to allegations of domestic abuse and infidelity made against him by his estranged wife, Sandra Edoho.
Edoho, known for hosting ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ (WWTBAM), has recently been in the spotlight following renewed public attention on his marriage and separation.
He was previously married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang from 2003 to 2010, a union that produced three children. He later married Sandra in 2013, with whom he had two children in 2014 and 2016.
The media personality confirmed last year that his second marriage ended in December 2022, describing the experience as “devastating”.
He has also recently stated that he would not commit to just one woman again, saying he has moved on from the failed marriage.
Following the separation, allegations emerged suggesting Sandra had been involved with a Nigerian singer, claims she denied while counter-accusing Edoho of multiple affairs and domestic violence, including an alleged threat to her life.
Reacting via Instagram on Wednesday evening, Edoho dismissed all allegations, insisting they are false.
He explained that the issues are now subject to legal processes, which prevent him from disclosing further details, adding that he has chosen to address the matter through proper legal channels, “where facts, not noise, will prevail”.
“Over the past few days, a number of grave allegations concerning my person have been circulated in the public space,” he wrote.
“I am fully aware of the concern, commentary, and attention this has generated. Let me state, clearly and unequivocally, that the allegations made against me are false.
“At moments such as this, experience teaches that not every accusation merits a public contest, nor does every provocation require an answer in the court of public opinion.
“There are times when restraint is not weakness but wisdom, and this is one of them. I have chosen to address these issues through the appropriate legal channels, where facts, not noise, will prevail.”
He also apologised to friends, colleagues, sponsors, and business partners who may have been affected by the controversy, expressing regret over any reputational damage caused.
“That said, I am deeply saddened that during this situation, individuals who have absolutely no connection to these issues have had their names, identities, and privacy drawn into public discourse,” he wrote.
“For that, I am sincerely sorry. No person should have to bear the weight of a matter in which they have no involvement.”
Edoho further appealed for privacy for his children, stressing that they should not be dragged into the public dispute.
He added that legal and investigative processes are already underway and said he remains confident in the outcome, while committing to handle the situation with dignity and restraint.
