The All Progressives Congress (APC) has prolonged the timelines for the sale and submission of expression of interest and nomination forms for aspirants ahead of the 2027 elections.
The party disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
According to the APC, the sale of forms will now continue until midnight on Wednesday, May 6.
The party also announced that the deadline for submitting completed forms has been shifted to midnight on Thursday, May 7.
It added that the screening of aspirants is scheduled to hold from Friday, May 8, to Tuesday, May 12.
The APC further stated that the list of successful aspirants will be released on Wednesday, May 13.
Earlier, on April 20, the party unveiled its timetable for the 2027 general election, fixing May 15 and 16 for the presidential primary.
Other scheduled primaries include the House of Representatives on May 18, the Senate on May 20, state houses of assembly on May 21, and governorship primaries on May 23.
