The Bauchi State Government has downgraded the Vice Principal (Academics) of Jibril Aminu Model Secondary School to a classroom teacher after she was found guilty of inflicting harsh corporal punishment on students.
This action was taken after an emergency meeting of the senior management committee of the Bauchi State Special Schools Management Board held on Tuesday.
Confirming the development, the Board’s Chairman, Babangida Barau, urged parents to remain calm, assuring them that additional disciplinary steps would be taken following a thorough investigation.
“The board is committed to delivering quality education and discipline in line with modern standards of school administration,” he said.
