Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has celebrated his mother, Mrs Victoria Olaitan Abiodun, popularly known as ‘Mama Dapo’, on her 91st birthday, describing her as a pillar of strength, a source of wisdom and one of God’s greatest blessings to the family.
The governor thanked God for preserving his mother’s life, acknowledging her years of sacrifice, prayers, love and unwavering commitment to her family.
In a heartfelt Instagram post titled “Mama Dapo, at 91!”, Abiodun reflected on the values she instilled in her children and her continued influence on their lives.
He wrote, “With hearts filled with immense joy, love, and profound gratitude to Almighty God, we celebrate the 91st birthday of my lovely mother, Mrs. Victoria Olaitan Abiodun, fondly known as Mama Dapo.
“Today marks another beautiful milestone in a life richly blessed by God’s grace, mercy, and faithfulness. Ninety-one remarkable years of love, sacrifice, wisdom, strength, and unwavering devotion to God and family.
“Mama, as we celebrate you today, we are reminded of your countless sacrifices, constant prayers, unconditional love, and the invaluable lessons you have taught us over the years.
“You have remained our pillar of strength, a fountain of wisdom, and an enduring source of inspiration. Your humility, compassion, unwavering faith in God, and motherly guidance have continued to shape our lives and strengthen our resolve.
“At 91, your life remains a beautiful testimony to God’s goodness and divine preservation. We consider ourselves exceedingly blessed to have you with us, and we remain grateful for the privilege of being your child.
