“He’s stingy with money,” Son allegedly kills billionaire father in Abuja

A tragic incident has reportedly claimed the life of billionaire businessman, Chief Godwin Chinedu Adimike, at his residence in Guzape, Abuja.

According to reports, the businessman was allegedly stabbed to death by his 21-year-old son, an NYSC member, following a disagreement over finances. The confrontation reportedly began when the young man accused his father of being “stingy with money,” arguing that some of his friends receive cars and other expensive gifts from parents who are far less wealthy.

In response, the deceased was said to have challenged his son over what he described as wasteful spending and poor financial habits. The exchange allegedly turned violent, with the son reportedly stabbing his father three times, leading to his death.

Sources further claim that the suspect had arrived home from a club earlier that day with two ladies, who were present when the incident occurred.

The suspect has since been taken into police custody as investigations continue.
