By Toyibat Ajose on November 21, 2022

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, a leading Nigerian law enforcement agency tasked with ridding the country of all forms of economic and financial crime, has restored its Instagram account (officialefcc), which was removed as a “false positive” by Instagram System on October 28, 2022.

Following an appeal by the Commission supported by evidence of compliance with community guidelines, the account was restored on November 21, 2022.

The Commission thanks all stakeholders and members of the public who expressed concern during the suspension.
