Iran agrees to ‘highest level’ nuclear inspections — Trump

US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Iran has “fully and completely agreed” to permit the return of nuclear inspectors and that US naval forces would no longer enforce a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump claimed Tehran had accepted extensive nuclear oversight measures and described ongoing talks between the two countries as progressing positively.

“Iran has fully and completely agreed to highest level Nuclear inspections long into the future (Infinity!!!). This will insure ‘Nuclear Honesty,’” Trump posted, adding that bilateral negotiations are “going well.”

The US president also said he had agreed to keep the strategically important Strait of Hormuz open, citing what he described as significant concessions from Iran.

“Based on this and other major concessions being made by Iran, I have agreed to allow the Hormuz Strait to remain OPEN, with no further Naval Blockade,” he added.

The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most critical maritime routes, serving as a key passage for global oil and gas shipments. Trump’s comments signal a potential easing of tensions between Washington and Tehran amid ongoing diplomatic engagements.
