World-renowned boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a road accident today in Makun, Ogun State.
Eyewitnesses report that the incident occurred along a busy section of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The vehicle carrying Joshua, a Lexus Jeep with the number plate KRD 850 HN, reportedly collided with a stationary truck under circumstances that are still being investigated.
Newsmen who was part of the rescue mission and reached out to PUNCH Online, stated that Joshua sustained minor injuries, while two people reportedly died at the scene.
Adeniyi Orojo noted that the accident occurred just before Danco Filling Station.
Fans have taken to social media expressing concern, and local authorities are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash.
