Journalists have been denied access to report on the trial of six suspects accused of plotting to remove President Bola Tinubu from office.
Although the proceedings have not been officially declared a secret trial, the restriction has sparked concerns about transparency in the handling of the case.
On Monday, judiciary correspondents were left without clear information on the proceedings, especially as the court is yet to decide on the suspects’ bail application.
Earlier in the day, the six defendants were brought before the court amid tight security.
