The lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Faleke has obtained the All Progressives Congress expression of interest and nomination forms on behalf of Bola Tinubu in preparation for the 2027 presidential election.
The forms, which cost N100 million, officially mark the beginning of Tinubu’s bid for re-election.
The APC National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu, issued the forms to Faleke on Tuesday in Abuja after announcing the start of the process. Faleke, who founded the Tinubu Support Groups, purchased and collected the forms for the president.
In the meantime, the Independent National Electoral Commission has scheduled the presidential and National Assembly elections for January 16, 2027, while governorship and State House of Assembly elections are set for February 6, 2027.
