President Bola Tinubu held a meeting with Governor Siminalayi Fubara, Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly Martins Amaewhule, and other assembly members.
According to Channels TV, the meeting, which took place on Thursday night, resulted in the President brokering peace among the parties whose conflict had previously prompted the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State back in March.
