Kwara pilgrims board announces fee for 2026 Hajj form

The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has begun registration and sales of forms for the 2026 Hajj, with the total cost set at ₦8.5 million.

This was disclosed by the Board’s Executive Secretary, Alhaji AbdulSalam Abdulkadir, during a press briefing on Monday in Ilorin, the state capital.

Abdulkadir explained that the fee, determined by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), covers all necessary expenses for the pilgrimage.

He also revealed that NAHCON has allocated 3,762 slots to Kwara State for the upcoming Hajj.

Abdulkadir outlined the key requirements for intending pilgrims, including the possession of a valid international passport and the completion of all documentation before the specified deadline.

He also disclosed that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the initial deposit of 5Million Naira for residents of the State wishing to partake in the exercise.

Intending participants are required to balance up before 8th October, 2025, which is the deadline for payment, according to Abdulkadir.
