Malema seeks single African Presidency, currency, borderless continent

Julius Malema, President of South Africa’s Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), has urged African leaders to unite under one president, one parliament, one currency, and one military command.

Speaking in Enugu on Sunday at the Nigerian Bar Association’s Annual General Conference, Malema called colonial borders “artificial chains” and pressed for a borderless continent that speaks with one voice.

‘Africa Stronger With Single Currency’
The firebrand politician argued a united African currency would stand firm against the dollar.
“We don’t care what Donald Trump or any other leader thinks. Africans must stop being subjects of others,” he declared to thunderous applause.

Africa Has Wealth To Prosper – Malema
Rejecting the “dark continent” label, Malema hailed Africa’s resources and urged their use for industrial growth.
“The land belongs to Africans, the minerals belong to Africans. We have the capacity to create industries here and must stop imperialists from stealing our wealth,” he said.

‘No Visas For Africans’ – EFF Leader
Malema called for visa-free movement across the continent.
“Africans should not need visas to visit one another,” he said, stressing that Nigeria and South Africa must lead industrialisation and the African Continental Free Trade Area.

Malema Slams IMF ‘Debt Traps’
The opposition leader warned against reckless borrowing from the World Bank and IMF.
“Our leaders must regulate loans. They sign agreements today and vanish tomorrow, leaving future generations to pay,” he said.

Xenophobia Betrays Africa’s Unity
On South Africa’s xenophobia crisis, Malema condemned attacks on Nigerians, Congolese and Zimbabweans.
“Xenophobia is poverty and inequality weaponised. It is a betrayal of African unity. Africans must love one another instead of killing themselves,” he warned.
