Media personality loses wife weeks after welcoming first child

Media personality Teddy Don Momoh, who was previously married to late gospel singer Kefee, has been thrown into mourning following the death of his wife, Lara Kudayisi Don-Momoh.

Lara, widely known as Coach Lara, reportedly died on August 2 after a brief illness. Her passing comes just two weeks after she and Teddy celebrated the birth of their first child together, a baby girl.

The heartbreaking news was confirmed in a statement released by her family, which read:

“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Lara Kudayisi Don-Momoh.

After a brief illness, Coach Lara passed away peacefully.

Teddy and Lara got married in 2023, years after the death of his former wife, Kefee, who passed away in 2014. Lara’s sudden death has left family, friends, and well-wishers in shock, with many taking to social media to express their condolences and prayers for the grieving family.
