NYSC extends Batch ‘C’ registration by 48 hours over network issues

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced a 48-hour extension of the online registration period for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation due to network difficulties experienced by prospective corps members.

This was disclosed in a statement on Friday by the scheme’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.

According to the NYSC, the extension became necessary after several applicants encountered delays in completing their registration process caused by network-related issues affecting the system.

The statement read, “The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has noted the difficulties being faced by some Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) in the ongoing registration for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation.

“The longer than usual time it is taking some PCMs to complete the registration is as a result of network issues.”

NYSC said it regrets the inconvenience the disruption may have caused applicants.

It added that the registration period has now been extended to allow those affected complete the process.

“While management regrets the inconvenience this might have caused our valued PCMs, we wish to assure all that we are working round the clock to resolve the issues and ensure they enjoy seamless registration,” Embu said.

She added that the registration will now run until midnight of Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to accommodate those still struggling with completion.

“In view of this regrettable development, management has extended the registration period by 48 hours till midnight of Tuesday November 11, 2025 to enable our enthusiastic PCMs conclude their registration,” the statement added.

NYSC urged applicants to remain calm while efforts continue to address the network challenge.
