Popular comedian raises alarm over ‘beggars pandemic’ in Lagos

Comedian I Go Save has expressed concern over what he described as a rising “pandemic” of beggars in Lagos, urging the government to take swift action.

In a post shared on his Instagram story, the comedian compared begging patterns in different parts of the country.

He noted that while beggars in northern Nigeria typically carry plates, those in Lagos are seen holding stones.

I Go Save described the situation in Lagos as alarming and called for immediate intervention from authorities.

“In the Northern parts of Nigeria, beggars hold plates, but in Lagos, beggars hold stones.

“The government needs to stop this growing pandemic in Lagos instantaneously,” he wrote.
