Renowned Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has finally addressed the widespread rumours surrounding his sexuality.
According to reports, Arukwe had previously been rumored to be gay. However, during his appearance on the ‘Unfiltered and Extra Spicy’ show, the actor dismissed the circulating claim.
While expressing his love and support for his gay friends, Arukwe clarified that they are simply his friends, and he appreciates them for who they are.
“The worst rumour I have ever heard about myself was that I’m a gay. I was shocked to my bones, but at the same time I was excited because I heard that you will blow when people start saying those kinds of things about you, so I told myself, ‘this must be it.
“I have a lot of gay friends, and I love them. They are my friends so I know their sexuality, and I love them to death. I have nothing against them whatsoever.
“But I’m not a gay, and I won’t agree to what I am not. For me, let God be the judge. If it is my sexuality, I would own it. I will be one of the hottest around”.
